The designer of the Sailing coin
Bruce Rushin is an art and design high school teacher from Horstead, Norfolk who designed the sailing coin.

Bruce said his design was influenced by the Norfolk Broads.
With a degree in painting from Ravensbourne College of Art and Design in Kent, he then went straight on to teaching. Bruce is currently teaching at a high school part-time and is renovating a house in France, as well as doing some of his own art. He was also the designer of the UK’s very first £2 coin.
